FAITH DEVELOPMENT
A Catholic education is a priceless gift for your child. In kindergarten, our religious instruction focuses on God, our Creator, Jesus showing us God’s love and the sharing of that love with others. We say prayers throughout the day, participate in daily religion class, and attend Mass regularly. Our faith development is enriched by our weekly “Catechesis of the Good Shepherd” class, a Montessori-based program. At OLL, our discipline system is founded on Christian Behavior, and this shapes the way our students respectfully interact with their teachers and with one another.
 
ACADEMICS
Kindergarteners are busy at work and play at Our Lady of Lourdes! This is the year we introduce Superkids Reading Program and begin the adventure of nurturing confident readers. We incorporate the academics of reading, spelling, handwriting, math, science, and social studies. We are blessed to have two small, self-contained classes, with a certified teacher and shared assistant in each room. The children thrive on daily recess and limited, relevant homework at night. We combine the best of both academics and activities for a well-rounded, exciting day

ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES 
One benefit of kindergarten at our spiritual and academic-focused school is access to higher-level learning. All of our students attend classes that other school may only offer to middle school and high school students. At OLL, kindergarten students enjoy an enrichment class each day of the week: P.E., Art, Music, Library, &Spanish
